1. Ozone, Hong Kong

Make your way to the 118th floor of The Ritz-Carlton in Hong Kong and pour a glass at Ozone bar, officially recognized as the highest bar in the world.

The sky high megalith was designed by Masamichi Katayama, complete with viewing terraces and heated viewing platforms.

2. 1-Altitude, Singapore

ALTITUDE

282 meters above sea level, Altitude is the highest point in Singapore.

A fun thing about 1-Altitude are the two mixologist capsules where you can try concocting your own drinks, or… you know, just order them and have it done professionally.

3. Aqua spirit, Hong Kong

Overlooking Hong Kong’s beautiful harbour, at the top of One Peking skyscraper, Aqua Spirit is world famous amongst people viewing the Symphony of Lights. For those of you whod didn’t know, the Symphony is a nightly event that sees the buildings along the waterfront illuminated in a display of synchronized lights and well timed music.

4. Top of the Mark, San Francisco

Located on and named after the top floor of Mark Hopkins hotel, ‘Top of the Mark’ bar is, not based on modern culture but a homage to the past. This is a 360 bar, taking up the entire floor in view of the Golden Gate Bridge below the shockingly beautiful San Francisco skyline at sunset.

5. Sky Bar at Sirocco, Bangkok

The world’s highest open-top bar, Sky Bar can be found on the 63rd floor of one of Bangkok’s many skyscrapers, and has made itself a name amongst sunset chasers.

Most people visiting Singapore check their friends Instagram and say ‘’hey can we go to that big boat thing on top of the three skyscrapers?’’… this is the place they mean. It sits high on Marina Bay Sands overlooking the marina. Ku Dé Ta is a little over 40,000sq ft and houses a poolside terrace, restaurant, open air bar, guest house and lounge.

Sitting atop a 52-storey skyscraper, Tokyo Park Hyatt’s New York Bar is popular with film fans for its role in the blockbuster ‘Lost in Translation’ but well worth a visit for its less star studded merits. Offering some incredible views exceptional of the city the bar boasts impressive sunsets on humid nights.

On the 58th floor of Shanghai’s IFC tower, Style fills the entire top floor and roof of the Ritz-Carlton inn in Pudong. On warm days the open air viewing platform heaves with visitors, voyagers and local people taking in a view that boasts the Bund, the Pearl Tower and the cityscape.

The unremitting racket of Mumbai is left far beneath at Aer. On the 34th floor of the city’s Four Seasons inn, the outside bar and parlor begins the night with a day by day “Nightfall party time” from 5.30pm to 8pm.
